Letramento literário e formação do leitor: uma análise a partir do livro de Olga Dios Em Família

Abstract

This study will discourse about children's literature, the importance of literary literacy in the formation of critical and creative readers, the fundamental role of the teacher as a mediator in this process, of the school, for being a formal space for learning where all children should be, and of the family, for being the instance in which the child has its first stimuli. There will be a textual analysis about reader training, of the transformations of the family over the years, how children's literature came into being, and the place of the child, starting with Olga de Dios' book Em Família (2018). These concepts are problematized and studied by the authors, Cosson (2020), Fernandes (2005), Zilberman (2003), Candido (2011), Orlandi (1987, 2008), and Mittmann (2007), among others, with them our journey will be richer and deeper. It was a bibliographical research, in which we analyzed books and articles in order to understand all the questions raised. I will start by introducing the concepts of literature as a formative process, because when we make it possible for children to have access to children's literature at school, they tend to awaken creation through art, visit places and situations they had never visited before, leading them to develop their imagination, and this contributes to expanding their subjectivity helping in their human development. Literacy enables the child to better understand the skills that involve the literate world and our society. It is a social practice and a school responsibility, and has an important contribution to the formation of future readers, because it facilitates the understanding of texts and contexts. At the end of the research, it was possible to perceive that the mediation of educators and the collaboration of the family are essential for the formation of future readers, because it is through the stimuli they offer to the child that they tend to develop their reading skills.
