dc.description.abstractTo discuss the drawing teaching understood as a bridge between the mechanical arts/ liberal arts dichotomy, I take some fragments of the history of nineteenth-century education from the perspective of a Brazilian writing interested in understanding the intermingling, juxtapositions, and artistic-cultural overlaps between Brazil and Portugal. In an arena in which the Drawing was constituted as a discipline in a project of prerepublican education, I look for the rumors of the representations of its teaching, considering its flows between the artistic practices of Fine Arts and Industrial Education.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoPara discutir o ensino do desenho entendido como ponte da dicotomia artes mecânicas/artes liberais, acesso alguns fragmentos da história da educação oitocentista sob a perspectiva de uma escrita brasileira interessada em entender as miscigenações, justaposições e sobreposições artístico-culturais entre Brasil e Portugal. Numa arena em que o Desenho se constituía como disciplina num projeto de educação pré-republicana, procuro pelos rumores das representações do seu ensino, considerando seus fluxos entre as práticas artísticas das Belas artes e do Ensino Industrial.pt_BR
