Título: Dengue e Educação CTS: Guia Pedagógico para o Ensino Fundamental II
Autor(es): Campos, Adriana; Maciel, Felippe
Primeiro Orientador: Maciel, Felippe
Abstract: This educational product consists of a pedagogical guide for middle
school teachers, grounded in the Science, Technology, and Society
(STS) approach and centering on dengue fever as a socio-scientific
issue. The material integrates theoretical foundations, pedagogical
guidelines, activities, and research experiences, linking scientific,
technological, and social knowledge to the students' reality. Structured
around the "Three Pedagogical Moments" framework, it incorporates
strategies such as analyzing news reports, lectures, visits to a landfill,
constructing traps and repellents, research projects, science fairs, comic
strips, and community actions, thereby fostering critical reflection,
student agency, and social participation.

Autor(es): Leopardo, Samira; Gomes, Adriana Aparecida
Primeiro Orientador: Gomes, Adriana Aparecida
Abstract: This Educational Product is an integral part of the master’s thesis entitled “Financial education in high school: contributions of critical mathematics education and creative insubordination.”

This work was developed within the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG) – Jataí Campus. The product is characterized as a pedagogical intervention in the form of instructional/teaching material, structured as a Didactic Sequence (DS), and was designed to challenge traditional financial education, based on banking and market-oriented approaches that focus on individual responsibility and consumption.

Instead, it proposes a counter-hegemonic and emancipatory approach, aligned with Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of Autonomy and Ole Skovsmose’s Critical Mathematics Education (CME).

Título: Caderno Pedagógico Investigativo (CPI): detetives da água
Autor(es): Sousa, Robson Luiz; Sousa, Marluce Silva
Primeiro Orientador: Sousa, Marluce Silva
Abstract: This educational product consists of an interdisciplinary Investigative
Pedagogical Notebook (Geography and Mathematics) entitled "Water
Detectives", with the objective of promoting understanding of the
water crisis and water consumption, providing students with a critical
reading of reality and the proposition of actions in the school context.
In it, the learning path is driven by an investigative narrative (the
enigma of "The Dry Spring") guided by characters, structured in the
five methodological moments of Historical-Critical Pedagogy. The
material presents practical missions that articulate mathematical and
geographical knowledge, guiding students to investigate everything
from the school's own water bill to the "invisible water" consumed by
agriculture and the textile industry. Furthermore, the notebook
culminates by guiding the collective elaboration of "Action Mini-
plans", equipping students to actively intervene in the socio-
environmental problems of their community.

Guia estratégico de autogerenciamento para concursos públicos

Título: Guia estratégico de autogerenciamento para concursos públicos
Autor(es): Santos, Higor Angelo dos; Ferreira, Nilton Cezar
Primeiro Orientador: Ferreira, Nilton Cezar
Abstract: The Strategic Guide to Self-Management for Public Service
Examinations is an Educational Product in the form of a website,
developed within the Graduate Program of the Federal Institute of
Goiás (IFG), as part of the research entitled Self-Management in the
Preparation for Public Service Examinations for Teachers: A Study with Mathematics Teachers.
The product was developed to assist Mathematics teachers in
organizing and managing their preparation for public service
examinations by providing guidance and strategies that can be used
autonomously throughout the study process. Its proposal is based on
the understanding that effective preparation depends not only on the
content that needs to be studied, but also on the ability to plan,
organize, monitor, and adjust one's own actions in response to the
demands of each examination.
The website provides didactic and instructional materials, bringing
together practical guidance, study strategies, and resources that enable
users to reflect on their own preparation and make decisions in a more
conscious and organized manner. The content is structured around four
pillars: Analysis and Interpretation of the Examination Notice;
Optimization of the Study Plan; Emotional Management; and Problem-
Solving Practice.
The development of the product is directly related to the dissertation.
The content and strategies presented in the Guide were developed
based on the knowledge generated throughout the research, which
involved the analysis of public service examination notices and tests,
as well as interviews with Mathematics teachers. The results of this
process made it possible to identify relevant aspects of preparation for
public service examinations and, based on these findings, to structure a
self-management proposal that could be transformed into a practical
guidance resource.
Thus, the website seeks to bring the research findings closer to the
reality of teachers preparing for public service examinations by
transforming the knowledge produced through the study into an
accessible and applicable resource. The objective is not merely to
indicate to candidates what they should study, but to contribute to their
development of strategies for managing their own preparation process,
taking into account the examination notice, study planning, emotional
aspects, and the practice of solving questions.
