Abstract: This study analyzes teaching strategies designed to support students with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) within the context of Chemistry education. The research adopts the “state of the art” methodology, aiming to systematize and discuss the main approaches found in recent academic studies on inclusive Chemistry teaching. Through an integrative literature review conducted between 2014 and 2024, the study identifies methodological trends and gaps in scientific production regarding inclusive education for students with ADHD. The results show that most studies emphasize the effectiveness of playful and interactive methodologies, such as didactic games and adapted activities, which stimulate attention, motivation, and socialization in the classroom. The findings also reveal an increasing interest in inclusive educational practices, especially those that integrate theoretical reflection and practical application in teaching. In conclusion, the study highlights that inclusive strategies in Chemistry teaching—supported by ludic methodologies, technological resources, and collaborative planning—can significantly improve the engagement and learning outcomes of students with ADHD, contributing to a more equitable and participatory educational environment.

Abstract: Science education in high school faces the challenge of connecting chemistry content to students' reality, aiming to promote interest and foster meaningful learning. In this context, choosing everyday objects as a starting point for investigation proves to be an effective strategy for bridging theory and practice, as well as stimulating curiosity and critical thinking. This work presents a didactic sequence developed for the 3rd year of high school, organized into five 50-minute classes, using nail polish as the object of scientific investigation. The proposal seeks to connect chemistry content to students' daily lives, promoting meaningful learning through contextualization, experimentation, and creative production. The theoretical framework is based on principles that value the use of generating themes as a strategy to promote active learning, the construction of didactic sequences centered on chemical reactions, the relevance of thematic workshops with cosmetics as a way to spark curiosity, the interdisciplinary approach that articulates Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Education, and the importance of contextualization in teaching materials. The classes were organized progressively: analysis of nail polish labels and composition; identification of organic functions; investigative practice with solubility experiments; debate on sustainability and conscious consumption; and production of educational materials. The pedagogical differentiators of the proposal lie in the real-world contextualization, starting from a product familiar to the students; in the interdisciplinarity, which integrates different areas of knowledge; in the active methodology, which prioritizes investigation and creation; and in the diversified evaluation, which values reports, debates, infographics, and presentations. It is concluded that the sequence contributes to the development of scientific, investigative, and socio-environmental competencies, forming critical and conscious students about the impacts of their consumption habits and the relevance of science in their daily lives.

Abstract: Iron is an essential micronutrient for human health, involved in oxygen transport, energy metabolism, and DNA synthesis. Iron deficiency is a public health problem in Brazil and worldwide, primarily affecting children and pregnant women. To reduce iron deficiency anemia rates, ANVISA Resolution RDC No. 344/2002 mandated the mandatory fortification of wheat and corn flours with iron and folic acid. This study aimed to quantitatively determine the iron content in different brands of fortified wheat flour sold in Itumbiara, Goiás, using the iron-o-phenanthroline method and UV/VIS molecular absorption spectroscopy. The average iron levels found were 4.7 mg/100 g, 4.07 mg/100 g, and 7.5 mg/100 g, all within legal limits, although with significant variations in some triplicates, indicating a possible failure in industrial homogenization. Ash content was also assessed, and all samples showed values outside established standards, revealing excess or deficiency of minerals. These findings reinforce the importance of quality control and continuous monitoring in the industry, ensuring the effectiveness of the fortification policy.

Abstract: Forensic chemistry is a strategic field of criminal investigation because it enables the identification, characterization, and interpretation of legally relevant material traces through scientific methods. This study aimed to analyze the importance of forensic chemistry in criminal investigation, emphasizing the contribution of chemical techniques to the identification, analysis, and interpretation of traces and assessing their efficiency, applications, and limitations in the contemporary forensic context. The research was designed as a narrative literature review based on 19 sources effectively analyzed, including scientific articles, conceptual support works, and one methodological book. The findings showed that chromatography, mass spectrometry,
Raman spectroscopy, portable near-infrared spectroscopy, and MALDI, DESI, and DART techniques expand screening, confirmation, and interpretation capabilities in different investigative contexts. Their effectiveness depends on sensitivity, selectivity, validation, quality control, suitability for the matrix, and critical interpretation of results. It is concluded that forensic chemistry plays a decisive role in crime investigation and in the production of reliable technical-scientific evidence, although it still faces challenges related to new psychoactive substances, complex forensic matrices, interpretive standardization, and specialized professional training.
