Autor(es): Caixeta, Heloisa Helena Lopes dos Santos Abstract: This Educational Product (EP), in the form of a Technical Report/Digital Book, is part of the research that gave rise to the dissertation “Ombudsman, social participation and educational practices: paths for conflict mediation in the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education”. This research was developed in the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), of the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG). The EP aims to provide guidance based on the theoretical framework for the effective performance of the Ombudsman's Offices in the RFEPCT as a space for conflict mediation. The methodology used in the EP includes a bibliographic review that, in addition to the study of the legislation and the theoretical- practical framework on the subject, addresses the actions of the Ombudsman's Office as a space for conflict prevention and mediation. The results of the research supported the construction of a Technical Report/Digital Book, which presents concepts of social participation, techniques for conflict prevention and mediation, in addition to good practices for the performance of the Ombudsman's Offices in the RFEPCT. The initial version of the EP is validated by specialists in the area of Ombudsman at RFEPCT, selected as ad hoc evaluators. The main objective of this stage will be to gather contributions for its improvement. The results of the evaluation support adjustments and improvements in the organization and content of the Digital Book, preparing it for its application.
