    <title>Os possíveis erros de tradução, de uma obra em português, atribuída a Guy Brousseau</title>

Abstract: This study analyzes the Portuguese translation of the Theory of Didactical Situations, developed by Guy Brousseau, through a comparison with the original text in French. The objective is to examine the extent to which the theoretical terms preserve their conceptual meaning throughout the translation process. The research adopts a qualitative and bibliographical approach, based on the reading and comparative analysis of the author's works in both French and Portuguese. The investigation focuses on the concepts of milieu, institutionnalisation, didactical situation, and adidactical situation, which are considered central to the structure of the theory. The findings show that translation is not limited to linguistic equivalence but involves interpretative choices that may lead to shifts in meaning, affecting the understanding of concepts and their application in educational contexts. It was found that such shifts may compromise the coherence of the theoretical system, especially when the translations used are not critically examined. The study concludes that conceptual fidelity in translation is essential to ensure academic rigor in Mathematics Education and highlights the need for further research on the impacts of translation on the dissemination and appropriation of the theory.

    <title>Geometria Diferencial com Python: Modelagem de evolutas e involutas de curvas</title>

    <description>Título: Geometria Diferencial com Python: Modelagem de evolutas e involutas de curvas

Abstract: The present work addresses the theme Differential Geometry with Python: modeling of evolutes and involutes of curves, inserted in the context of Differential Geometry, seeking to understand the following research problem: “In what way can the implementation of programming codes in Python contribute to the visualization and understanding of concepts of Differential Geometry, especially regarding the evolutes and involutes of regular curves in Euclidean spaces?”. Thus, the general objective of the study was to implement mathematical models of plane and spatial curves, as well as their evolutes and involutes, using programming codes in Python as a support strategy for the theoretical study of Differential Geometry. To achieve this objective, a qualitative and exploratory research was carried out, with a theoretical-computational approach, using as methodological procedures the bibliographic survey, conceptual study of Differential Geometry, and the implementation of programming codes in Python for simulation and graphical visualization of regular curves. It is therefore concluded that the implementation of Python codes for the evolutes and involutes of curves constitutes an effective resource for the study and deepening of concepts, contributing to a more intuitive learning process, in addition to the possibility of use in other research that investigates different types of curves and Properties.

Abstract: This work presents a study on the theory of matroids, addressing the&#xD;
basic definitions and fundamental properties. Concepts of independent&#xD;
and dependent sets are developed alongside the notions of bases and&#xD;
circuits, which are essential elements for understanding the structure of&#xD;
matroids. The geometric representation of matroids is explored based&#xD;
on the concept of rank, allowing for structural and visual analysis. To&#xD;
conclude the paper, practical applications of matroids are presented in&#xD;
areas such as graph theory, highlighting their usefulness in solving&#xD;
problems.

Abstract: In this work, data from MIG/MAG welding experiments carried out in&#xD;
short-circuit operating mode using three gases—100% argon, argon&#xD;
with 25% carbon dioxide, and 100% carbon dioxide—were analyzed,&#xD;
enabling comprehensive analysis of the following parameters: short-&#xD;
circuit time, open arc time, short-circuit voltage, open arc voltage,&#xD;
current rise rate, number of shorts, and reference voltage.&#xD;
During the development of this study, correlation tests (Pearson,&#xD;
Spearman, Kendall) were applied, along with a series of evaluations to&#xD;
assess the quality of models, including the application of Shapiro-Wilk&#xD;
tests to verify the normality of residuals. A correlation matrix was&#xD;
created for the tested parameters and gases. Strong correlations were&#xD;
found between open arc time vs. number of shorts and open arc time vs.&#xD;
current rise rate for all gases. The correlations between current rise rate&#xD;
vs. number of shorts, short-circuit time vs. short-circuit voltage, and&#xD;
short-circuit voltage vs. reference voltage showed lower significance&#xD;
for all gases. Regarding time series analysis, ARIMA and ETS models&#xD;
were fitted and evaluated with specific metrics, indicating the need for model improvements to increase forecast accuracy.
