    <description>Título: Ciências básicas para o desenvolvimento sustentável: uma abordagem multidisciplinar
Autor(es): Viajante, Ghunter Paulo (et. al)
Abstract: It is with great joy that we present to the community the first IFG Câmpus Itumbiara ebook&#xD;
containing a collection of the main works presented at SECITEC – Education Week,&#xD;
Science and Technology at IFG – Campus Itumbiara, whose main theme, in the year 2023, was: Sciences&#xD;
Basics for Sustainable Development.&#xD;
The works were evaluated by Campus professors, who selected those that stood out the most,&#xD;
and the result is this compilation of articles and ideas that stood out not only for their originality,&#xD;
but also for quality.&#xD;
Each work is a demonstration of students' commitment to research and innovation. To the&#xD;
highlight these projects, we recognize the individual merit of each participant and the potential&#xD;
transformation that science and technology have in our lives.&#xD;
Throughout these pages, readers will have the opportunity to learn a little about the activities&#xD;
academic and research developed at IFG – Câmpus Itumbiara, as well as reflecting on themes&#xD;
of interest to the areas of engineering, chemistry and similar areas, encouraging deeper knowledge.&#xD;
We would like to thank everyone involved in SECITEC 2023 – students, teachers, organizing committee,&#xD;
research centers: Energy Systems Research Center (NuPSE), Research and&#xD;
Technological Innovation in Renewable Energy Sources (NUPSOL), Chemistry Research Center&#xD;
(NuPEQUI), Center for Research and Technological Extension Based on Maker Culture (NuPEMaker), Center&#xD;
of Study, Research and Extension in Education and Educational Processes (NuPEPE), Education Program&#xD;
Tutorial (PET) Chemistry: Education, Environment and Society, and to funding bodies, CNPq – Council&#xD;
National Council for Scientific and Technological Development and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, MCTI.&#xD;
May this ebook inspire and motivate academics and everyone who recognizes the transformative power of&#xD;
research and education.

    <title>Laboratório virtual de ensino de química – projeto LAVENQ</title>
    <link>https://repositorio.ifg.edu.br/handle/prefix/2373</link>
    <description>Título: Laboratório virtual de ensino de química – projeto LAVENQ
Autor(es): Ferreira, Viviane Bessa; XAVIER, Tatielih P. O.; GOMES, Fabiana; GONÇALVES, Alécia Maria; SPIESS, Marcos A.; MARQUES, Fernando da S.
Abstract: The Lavenq project was created with the aim of producing videos for teaching experiments in the area of chemistry with themes aimed at learning high school content. The idea is justified by the lack of infrastructure in basic education schools in the region where the Uruaçu Campus is located, which often do not have or even&#xD;
cannot maintain a science laboratory. The proposal is also justified by the lack of virtual materials that complement the experimental learning of chemistry; a situation evidenced by the demands of the remote education in which we are inserted. The proposal involves the planning, elaboration and execution of videos about the experimentation of scientific contents, embodying the creation of a virtual laboratory. In this one, students from the Licentiate Degree in Chemistry and students from the Course in Analysis and Systems Development acted as producers of didactic-&#xD;
pedagogical material, showing that projects that combine skills present in different courses can be a strategy for interdisciplinary teaching. In a period of four months, the group managed to produce two videos, which were about inorganic functions and chemical reactions. The videos were published on the YouTube platform and made&#xD;
available to the academic community. An open questionnaire was applied to the students participating in the team where they pointed out that experiencing teaching and learning methodologies and expanding interpersonal relationships were taken as positive points. We realized that this proposal made communication between students&#xD;
from different courses closer and allowed, therefore, exchanges of enriching experiences.
