Título: Em busca do Estudo Maior: documentário sobre a formação superior de indígenas da etnia Karajá na Cidade de Goiás Autor(es): Monteiro, Hélio Simplicio Rodrigues Primeiro Orientador: Júnior, Carlos Cipriano Gomes Abstract: The documentary produced as the experimental project for this undergraduate thesis follows Indigenous Karajá women from the Bdeburé village, located in the municipality of Aruanã, Goiás, Brazil, as they pursue higher education at the Federal University of Goiás, Goiás campus, 174 km from their community. The film reflects on the pursuit of knowledge among Indigenous peoples by exploring the challenges faced by students enrolled in the Degree in Rural Education – Natural Sciences (LEdoC/UFG) as they navigate their academic training while periodically leaving their village and, consequently, their community responsibilities. Their motivation stems from a desire to strengthen their community and contribute to its struggle for rights. In this context, Estudo Maior—the continuation of education beyond secondary school—becomes both a collective journey and an increasingly necessary experience for Indigenous students from different ethnic groups and communities studying in the City of Goiás. Through interviews with the students and members of the Karajá community, the short documentary explores different perspectives on the pursuit of knowledge outside the village. It also portrays aspects of the students’ everyday lives in both the village and the university, as well as their surrounding environments, through footage recorded between 2019 and 2022. The film seeks to contribute to reflections on how the community of these LEdoC students has responded to and engaged with the movement toward higher education. In this context, the research primarily focuses on the analysis of aesthetics, themes, and the cultural influence stemming from the assimilation of the antropofagia perspective in the films Sem essa, Aranha and Copacabana Mon Amour, both directed by Rogério Sganzerla. The fundamental purpose is to identify how these works incorporated and reinterpreted elements of these artistic movements, resulting in the creation of cinematic products that stand out as authentic and unique, intrinsically representative of Brazilian culture. The film follows Clarice, a quiet and introspective young woman who reveals aspects of her identity through fragmented moments of her everyday life. She speaks little and observes much; silence becomes her most expressive language. Her routine is shaped by contemplation and by a heightened sensitivity to natural details—sunlight, moving trees, and, above all, flowers, which carry essential symbolic weight throughout her emotional journey. Although introverted, Clarice shares brief moments of connection with friends, exposing the tension between solitude and the desire for human presence. The film reaches its most poetic point in her relationship with Vênus, the woman she loves, portrayed through symbolic gestures and the recurring metaphor of flowers that reflect her inner blooming. Título: Perenes Memórias Autor(es): Souza, Mychelle Pereira de Primeiro Orientador: Prado, Renato Naves Abstract: This technical report presents the development of the short environmental documentary, "Perennial Memories," which shows, through memories and transformations, the Chapéu de Padre stream, highlighting the environmental impacts linked to water pollution. The methodology adopted was audiovisual production in the documentary genre, conducting interviews, bringing accounts from the grandmother and her granddaughters, their feelings and experiences with the stream, moving between past and present, pointing out two versions: the clean stream and the polluted stream. The result is a film that portrays the sad consequences and losses caused by the pollution of the stream that originates within the city and runs towards the Rio Vermelho.
