Autor(es): Viajante, Ghunter Paulo (et. al)
Abstract: It is with great joy that we present to the community the first IFG Câmpus Itumbiara ebook
containing a collection of the main works presented at SECITEC – Education Week,
Science and Technology at IFG – Campus Itumbiara, whose main theme, in the year 2023, was: Sciences
Basics for Sustainable Development.
The works were evaluated by Campus professors, who selected those that stood out the most,
and the result is this compilation of articles and ideas that stood out not only for their originality,
but also for quality.
Each work is a demonstration of students' commitment to research and innovation. To the
highlight these projects, we recognize the individual merit of each participant and the potential
transformation that science and technology have in our lives.
Throughout these pages, readers will have the opportunity to learn a little about the activities
academic and research developed at IFG – Câmpus Itumbiara, as well as reflecting on themes
of interest to the areas of engineering, chemistry and similar areas, encouraging deeper knowledge.
We would like to thank everyone involved in SECITEC 2023 – students, teachers, organizing committee,
research centers: Energy Systems Research Center (NuPSE), Research and
Technological Innovation in Renewable Energy Sources (NUPSOL), Chemistry Research Center
(NuPEQUI), Center for Research and Technological Extension Based on Maker Culture (NuPEMaker), Center
of Study, Research and Extension in Education and Educational Processes (NuPEPE), Education Program
Tutorial (PET) Chemistry: Education, Environment and Society, and to funding bodies, CNPq – Council
National Council for Scientific and Technological Development and Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, MCTI.
May this ebook inspire and motivate academics and everyone who recognizes the transformative power of
research and education.

Título: Laboratório virtual de ensino de química – projeto LAVENQ
Autor(es): Ferreira, Viviane Bessa; XAVIER, Tatielih P. O.; GOMES, Fabiana; GONÇALVES, Alécia Maria; SPIESS, Marcos A.; MARQUES, Fernando da S.
Abstract: The Lavenq project was created with the aim of producing videos for teaching experiments in the area of chemistry with themes aimed at learning high school content. The idea is justified by the lack of infrastructure in basic education schools in the region where the Uruaçu Campus is located, which often do not have or even
cannot maintain a science laboratory. The proposal is also justified by the lack of virtual materials that complement the experimental learning of chemistry; a situation evidenced by the demands of the remote education in which we are inserted. The proposal involves the planning, elaboration and execution of videos about the experimentation of scientific contents, embodying the creation of a virtual laboratory. In this one, students from the Licentiate Degree in Chemistry and students from the Course in Analysis and Systems Development acted as producers of didactic-
pedagogical material, showing that projects that combine skills present in different courses can be a strategy for interdisciplinary teaching. In a period of four months, the group managed to produce two videos, which were about inorganic functions and chemical reactions. The videos were published on the YouTube platform and made
available to the academic community. An open questionnaire was applied to the students participating in the team where they pointed out that experiencing teaching and learning methodologies and expanding interpersonal relationships were taken as positive points. We realized that this proposal made communication between students
from different courses closer and allowed, therefore, exchanges of enriching experiences.

Título: Martin Buber e o sentido da educação
Autor(es): Parreira, Gizele Geralda
Abstract: This book encourages the reader to rethink education through the dialogical perspective of Martin Buber, a 20th century Jewish philosopher. The need for the teacher-student relationship to go beyond the pedagogical field and enter the dialogical field is considered, transforming the school into a suprasocial community. In Buberian philosophy, dialogue contains elements of the inter-human: authenticity, presence, openness and genuine conversation, which focus on the sphere of relationships, shattered by the objectification of man in modernity. Buber, the “philosopher of the encounter”, argues that the actualization of the human Being is effected through the principle-words I-Thou and I-It, both crucial for the consummation of human existence: in the I-Thou man enters into a relationship with his fellow man and in the I-It experiences the other or the world. Buber's thought makes us recognize in education the meaning of rescuing humanity from human experiences.

Título: Música, educação e informática: gênese e construção de conceitos musicais na escola
Autor(es): Pereira, Eliton
Abstract: This book brings to light one of the most relevant issues in current education: the use of information technology as a pedagogical tool. The author moves with ease through the three areas covered: Music, Education and IT.
In the search to clarify the relationship between this triad, the contributions of Socioconstructivism are presented in verifying the development of sound and musical concepts, through the phases and stages of the construction of concepts listed by Vygotsky. Furthermore, the reader will find in this work a survey of computing and music teaching resources in schools, with an analysis of the main software available and considered most suitable for the school context.
This book therefore offers a great contribution to music education, as it skillfully addresses the urgent discussion of the role of information technology in today's educational processes.
