Abstract: The effectiveness of delivering services in a hospital equipment assistance requires
that its processes be executed in a functional manner, swiftly, and with quality for
the clients. With the aim of meeting this requirement, this study addresses the
proposal to optimize the key processes of a technical assistance service in hospital
equipment, base d in Goiânia GO. The study commenced with the survey and
mapping of processes for the organization's primary services. Subsequently, an
identification of waste was conducted using the Lean methodology. Following this,
the treatment of these wastes was carr ied out through quality tools. Finally, five
redesigned diagrams without the identified wastes and an action plan to address the
six identified wastes across five different mapped services were presented to the focus organization of the study.
While this plan was not implemented, it generated positive expectations within the company. Through the application of this study, it was possible to conclude that the use of process mapping, coupled with Lean
methodology and quality tools, enables an organization to efficiently seek improvements in its processes.

Abstract: The economic development of a country is directly related to energy demand. In Brazil, in recent years, there has been a shift in the electric load matrix due to the need to meet large-scale demands for sectors such as industry, which represented 36.2% of electricity consumption in 2022. Despite the improvements made, industries still face challenges regarding the efficiency of electricity utilization in their systems, which is measured by power factor, affected by reactive power. Reactive power does not perform useful work and can cause imbalance in the electric load, resulting in a low power factor and fines for consumer companies. In this context, the present study aims to analyze electricity bills to reduce expenses arising from fines for low power factor and demand exceedance at a Fuel Base in Senador Canedo - GO. To do this, data from 2019 to 2022 were collected. The research stages involved surveying active and reactive energy consumption, calculating the power factor, presenting expenses related to low power factor and demand exceedance, suggesting new contractual demands, and analyzing the financial feasibility of installing a capacitor bank. With the results obtained, it was observed that the suggested change in the demand contract could result in savings of R$3,588.89 over eight months. Furthermore, the installation of a capacitor bank is viable for power factor correction. Analyzing a 12-month cash flow, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 9.26% per month was obtained, representing 9.22 times the Minimum Acceptable Rate (MAR) of 1.005%. The Net Present Value (NPV) resulted in R$7,403.49, and the Discounted Payback showed that the return on investment takes 7 months and 17 days. Therefore, it is concluded that it is essential to annually review the contracted demand and change it when necessary to reduce expenses related to exceedance fines and promote the efficient use of energy resources. Additionally, to contribute to financial resource savings, it was found that the installation of a capacitor bank to correct the power factor is a viable and advantageous choice with a rapid return on investment.

Abstract: This Bachelor's Thesis (TCC) focuses on the application of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming in modeling Poka-Yoke devices as a strategy to optimize processes in the Ombudsman office of the Electrical Sector. The study began with the mapping of the current state of processes, identifying challenges and improvement opportunities. Subsequently, a risk analysis was conducted through the application of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), highlighting critical points that required attention. Based on this analysis, Poka-Yoke devices were developed with the aim of preventing errors, reducing failures, and enhancing the efficiency of virtual customer service processes. The results obtained included the creation of interfaces that prevent the scheduling of two clients for the same time while adhering to service rules, including the requirement of scheduling with a minimum of 2 business days in advance. Additionally, database automation was implemented to enable the sending of emails and SMS with just one click. The tests of the Poka-Yokes represented an innovative proposal to optimize the quality and productivity in virtual customer service, through the combination of VBA programming and continuous improvement techniques, demonstrating the effectiveness of this approach in reducing errors and enhancing customer service.
